Lutheran World Federation - Department of Studies publications (1972-1985) include study guides, consulation reports, study project summaries, and newsletters regarding Marxism and China, human rights concerns, lay and professional ministry, and women's issues. The Department's Women's Desk publications include a compilation book of reports from women's groups in LWF member churches from around the world. Initially used as preparatory material for an LWF International Women's Consulation in 1976, the reports are an assessment of the condition of women in the individual churches. Also included is a report regarding an. LWF International Women's Consulation held in Geneva, Switzerland in January 1984.
